Hiking the hills of Vienna [Jubiläumswarte]
Departing from Budapest toward Vienna. My backpack was so heavy that there was constant comedic stare-entertainment through all rail stations. One kind passenger even helped me stand up as I just half laid there bent backwards laughing at how silly it all was. She followed and replied, “I hope there’s not a unicorn in there!” Language translation blunder or not, I laughed.

Yes, Vienna is stunning. Happy Holidays!
“…freedom to create and to construct, to wonder and to venture. Such freedom requires that the individual be active and responsible, not a slave or a well-fed cog in the machine…It is not enough that men are not slaves; if social conditions further the existence of automatons, the results will not be love of life but love of death” (Fromm, op. cit., pp. 52-53; as cited in Freire, 2010, p. 68).

Quote from Paulo Freire’s book “Pedagogy of the Oppressed”
This picture contains a multitude of words, emotions, and captured moments of time in which future Jenn would tell past Jenn: “Do not be defeated by the grammar gremlins.”
The End.

For Summer:
I sent Summer a postcard with this very castle in Budapest. I told her I would visit it personally and take a picture for her.
